CANCER PATIENCE – WAITING LISTS - SURVIVAL RATES INCREASE

Nobody should have to wait to find out if they have Cancer or not. All waiting achieves is to increase the chance of the cancer spreading and the expense of the treatment. Waiting lists for Cancer needs to be exterminated – it makes no sense. Read an Article from The Daily Telegraph about the success of treating Lung Cancer when caught early. The UK Cancer survival Rate is the lowest in Europe? is it because the medical profession has learnt that catching and diagnosing Cancer is the best and perhaps most effective way of Cancer Treatment. Cancer kills 20,000 people every 24 hours. This is a frightening, out of control statistic that should not be a reality. When one thinks of all the treatment, from Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Surgery – and all the warnings - to think this disease takes more than 7 Million lives every year, it is such a shame. The report is called the Global Cancer Facts and Figures 2007, and is published by the American Cancer Society.

FIGHTING CANCER – THE FEELING WITHIN

The National Cancer Institute is a Federally Funded agency responsible for various research programs, financing of centres, public information and funds a whole host of programs related to Cancer Research, Cancer Prevention and Treatment. It was founded in 1937 – and since then it has been battling this deadly illness.

Amongst hundreds of other grants that are given out by the National Cancer Institute, the Radiological Physics Center (RPC) in Houston, Texas and the Quality Assurance Review Center (QARC) in Providence, Rhode Island are financed each year to carry out their work.
